Complaints/Suggestions
We
constantly strive to give you the best possible care and attention. If you have
any suggestions or are unhappy about any aspect of our service, please ask to
see the practice manager who will be happy to listen to your suggestions or criticisms.
Confidentiality
All members of the practice team respect and observe the strictest rules of confidentiality.
A private room can be made available if required for patients to speak in confidence
to any member of staff.
Patient Responsibilities
If you have an appointment please try to keep it or give adequate notice if you wish to cancel. All missed appointments are appointments that could have been given to other patients
Doctors' and Nurses' time is limited and they have many patients to see. Please do not delay us without good reason and be aware that there are other patients who need to see doctor or nurse as well. There are, however, occasions when you or another patient will need longer consultations. Sometimes this will delay your consultation. Please take this into account when you are waiting.
We can see more patients in surgery than when home visiting. Please come to the surgery whenever possible rather than requesting a visit.
We ask our staff to treat you with courtesy and friendliness and would ask you to treat our staff in the same way. It is not their fault if the doctors are delayed.
Zero Tolerance
We strongly support the NHS policy on zero tolerance. Anyone attending the surgery who abuses the doctors, staff or other patients be it verbally, physically or in any threatening manner whatsoever, will risk removal from the practice list.
In extreme case we may summon the police to remove offenders from the practice premises.
